This Logo was inspired by Mother Ocean Day; celebrated annually on May 10th. The logo was created for a mock nonprofit company called Mother Ocean, who strive to safeguard the inhabitants of the sea. The idea of the logo is to use positive and negative space to create a woman within a wave, holding her child— a fish who symbolizes all sea dwelling creatures. The woman within the wave is a representation of the ocean as a whole, who is the mother of all sea life.
